WebJun 9, 2015 · Firstly thanks for adding me. I have a Stihl 028 AV Super. Just recently it has started to leak chain oil from the bottom of the sprocket cover. The chain and bar are being oiled Ok. I had replaced the oil seal on the oil pump thinking that it might have been that as the old seal was badly worn. The new oil seal has made no difference to the leak.
