WebIntel CPUs perform best in photoshop so am assuming Lightroom too. Cores are good but LR responds best to high clock speeds. If you can overclock safely that will have a big impact. This is largely due to LR being written poorly I think. Getting m2 or SSD SATA drives makes a big difference too.
