Intensity-image reconstruction from events
WebNov 1, 2024 · Conventional cameras typically acquire intensity image frames at fixed time-intervals, generating temporally-sparse, low-dynamic-range image sequences. Fusing image frames with the output of event cameras offers the opportunity to create an image state infused with high-temporal-resolution, high-dynamic-range properties of event cameras. WebCoded aperture imaging (CAI) methods offer multidimensional and multispectral imaging capabilities with minimal resources than what is needed in a lens-based direct imager. In the CAI method, the light diffracted from an object is modulated by a coded mask, and the resulting intensity distribution is recorded. Most of the CAI techniques involve two steps: …

WebAbstract: Event cameras sense intensity changes and have many advantages over conventional cameras. To take advantage of event cameras, some methods have been proposed to reconstruct intensity images from event streams. However, the outputs are still in low resolution (LR), noisy, and unrealistic. WebThe network model is capable of reconstructing high-resolution (HR) intensity images using event streams and active sensor pixel (APS) frame information. We design the coupled … WebDec 3, 2024 · to produce high quality intensity images from pure events without being effected by direct capturing noise or motion blur and is able to create crisp sharp edges.
WebEvent cameras help provide high temporal resolution, high dynamic range and helps prevent any motion blur. The reconstruction of intensity images from a sequence of events is an ill-posed problem. Thus, in this project a deep network is used to reconstruct high intensity frames from event streams directly from the raw event data.
