Hydraulic conductivity of rockfill
WebHydraulic conductivity (K) is the ratio of the flow rate of a liquid to the pressure gradient. It is used to calculate the permeability of a porous medium, but it is only useful if the flow rate is known. For example, a 1 ft2/min flow rate of water through a 5-inch pipe will have a K value of 0.005 cubic feet per minute per psi.
