But if you are near walls, trees or anything else the inventory icons can still become invisible. The solution is to turn your character a bit so the near wall or tree texture doesn't interfere with your inventory icons #1

Did you complete his quest to make sure his men are loyal to him? He won't speak to you again until that is completed.
