I had this done at my last house, it had a flat roofed box bay on gallows brackets, when I had new windows I had it made into a proper bay and a pitched roof was added on top. It was quite straightforward. Thanks for the reply. My bay is already on bricks at the bottom so literally would just need the pitch adding.
