WebI upgraded to an ethernet over coax system largely because I wanted shield pro connected with a fast connection instead of wifi. Works great when it's working, but I get frequent drop outs with "ethernet disconnected" pop ups on the screen and brief pauses while it seems to suddenly reconnect and rebuffer. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Ethernet > Change Adapter Options, make sure you've connected to Ethernet 2 connection. Right click the network icon in System Tray at bottom right end of task bar to Troubleshoot Problems.

For anyone else with this issue disabling the following settings should work: Go to Device Manager, network adapters and find the ethernet one. - right click for properties - advanced. Disable Energy efficient ethernet (and or green energy) and Wake on magic packet.
